Rewinding is a viable alternative in many cases. We have an active business of rewinding transformers from low voltage Dry Types to high voltage sub-station size. Our approach offers a complete redesign using the same core and superstructure. A new product warranty is offered and rewinding can offer numerous benefits over replacement:

• Typically an uprate is possible.
• Disposal of a used coil/core is not necessary
• Cost and time savings can usually be achieved
