Replacement Transformers

We specialize in providing replacement units – for customers replacing liquid filled for environmental concerns, replacing that 1950’s vintage dry type in the basement electrical room, or replacing failed dry types in any application – we have the solution. Our designs are flexible to match exact mountings and terminations. We can furnish just the core and coil for installation in the existing enclosure or furnish a matching enclosure. Contractor & Construction Products

We serve the Electrical Contractor market with a variety of Specialty Products to meet the most difficult and demanding Specifications fully without exception. Incoming disconnects of all types, Packaged unitized single skid substations, Outdoor pad mount compartmentalized dry types, Unusual voltages or 2 to 3 phase Scott T connections, Specialized or knockdown enclosures, - we’ve done them all.

Drive Isolation and Exciter Power Potential Transformers

Another specialty of ours, these units are specifically designed to handle the harmonic loading typically associated with these applications. Our engineers have decades of experience in designing rectifier transformers for these and other applications. Serving several major OEM’s, our units are successfully operating throughout the world in a variety of Power Generating Stations and Industrial Processing Plants.

Traction Power Transformers

One of the most demanding applications for a Dry Type Transformer, these units are typically built to NEMA RI-9 Standards. Typically multiple winding designs, the units must meet stringent temperature rise and loading requirements, and most jobs require full short circuit testing. We serve several major OEM’s in this market and have units installed at numerous Transit Authorities throughout the world.

Specialty Magnetics

In addition to transformers, we offer other magnetic devices for numerous applications. Air core current limiting reactors, Iron core gapped and saturable core reactors, Inductors for all applications, Interphase transformers, - all are included in our market basket of products and expertise.

Military Specification Transformers

We acquired this line in early 2001 from a major transformer company. Designed in the 1940’s these units are Qualified Product Listed in conformance with MIL T 15108C and 17221B for Navy shipboard use. The line covers single phase 600V class ratings. We serve most of this market through authorized distributors handling the Shipbuilding and Repairing Industry.
